What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Accounting Administrator position at Idaho National Laboratory?
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Benefits Accounting Administrator to work in our Benefits, Tax and Treasury department. You will report to the Senior Manager of the department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our EROB facility with every other Friday off. Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.
Oversee the financial transactions of the 401k plan, working with our record keeper and payroll to review the files for the contributions of each our employee and ensure that it is uploaded to their specific accounts.
Responsibilities Include :
- Process various types of accounts payable invoices (purchase order invoices, vendor payment requests, subcontractor labor.
- Maintain adequate payment records.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Resolve issues and concerns regarding vendor payments.
- Perform other accounts payable tasks requiring knowledge of accounts payable procedures.
- Analyze vendor payments, research requesting payment information, review audit trails for appropriate cost distribution and other similar projects.
- Prepare and input cost distribution journals.
- Support testing of system updates and enhancements.
- Understand and interpret technical material, rules, regulations, and instructions.
- Use database management systems and related software.
- Work within a project team.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Areas of Specialty may include Accounts Payable / Receivable, Payroll, Benefits, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
