Description
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Communication System Analyst to work in our Network & Collaborative Infrastructure department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our REC / IAB facility with every other Friday off.
You will provide and maintain internal telecommunications, voice communications systems equipment, and any necessary change in the equipment. You will report to the Wireless Communications Lead.
Responsibilities Include :
- Administer the LMR virtual environment.
- Perform field investigations as a part of the Work Orders creation process.
- Determine existing configurations (both physical and logical) of all communication / network components and to determine what hazards may exist so that they can be avoided as part of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS).
- Provide system engineering, administration and maintenance for all INL wireless telecommunications Structures, Systems, and Components (SSCs), to include : Trunked and Conventional Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system(s); Wide Area Paging system; Microwave Transport Network; Wireless Metropolitan Area Network (WMAN); Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN); both the East Butte and Howe Peak Radio Transmission Facilities; Protected AC or DC Power Systems; Real Time Spectrum Monitoring System; Cellular Systems.
