Specialist practice in Coeur d Alene in search of a dedicated well organized medical assistant with a positive attitude and happy, friendly demeanor for a full-time position to join our team. The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter, independent problem solver willing to take on new tasks as needed, must be well organized with excellent people skills and attention to detail.
Duties included but not limited to:
Answer patient questions regarding health concerns.
Greet patients and escort them to the exam room.
Obtain and update medication list and medical history.
Clean and prepare rooms.
Assist in procedures and examinations including EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies and injections
Perform suture removals
Verify insurance benefits and schedule testing
Medication refills
Medical records
Data entry
The ideal candidate would be:
Certified Medical Assistant
1 years of current experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from provider/lead
Willingness to step in where the practice needs
Empathetic with patients' needs and concerns
Take phone calls for medication refills and prior authorizations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Detail oriented with attention paid to accuracy
Starting wage $18.00-20.00/hour DOE. Hours are Monday through Friday 8-5.
