What You’ll Get to Do :
Develop code to enable multiple hardware devices to cooperatively work togetherDesign, develop, modify and deploy Linux kernel drivers for a variety of novel hardware devicesCollaborate with hardware team to design hardware / software interfacesBring up Linux on new hardwareModify key kernel subsystems to facilitate novel hardware capabilitiesParticipate in all aspects of the product design life cycle including system architecture, design, development, and verificationDocument design and resultsWork individually and with a team to complete tasksContribute to the technical direction of this program and adjacent programsWhiteboard novel concepts and participate in innovative brainstorming sessionsRequired Qualifications & Experience
US CitizenshipAbility to get a security clearanceDegree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fieldAbility to clearly capture complex technical concepts in writing for both technical and general audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsMore than 3 years of relevant professional experienceIn-depth understanding of drivers, interrupt handling routines, and kernel subsystemsPreferred Qualifications & Experience
Active US Security ClearanceExperience applying principles of cyber security to operational technology and embedded systemsExperience reverse engineering hardware and software to understand what needs to be modified and how to achieve our intended functionalityExpertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages including C and other languages such as PythonExperience designing software systems running on multiple platforms and processorsSoftware systems testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.Location
