Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Medical Receptionist (also known as a Patient Success Coordinator) to join our team. In this key role, you will be the first impression our patients have of our clinic, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with administrative tasks, and helping create a welcoming, efficient environment. Your efforts will be essential to the clinic’s success, ensuring our patients feel cared for and supported at every step of their journey.

Responsibilities:
- Patient Check-In & Check-Out:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Facilitate smooth check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate patient information and timely appointments.
- Coordinate scheduling, follow-up visits, and patient communications with care and attention to detail.
- Collect payments and issue receipts as part of the check-out process.
- Appointment Coordination:
- Manage the appointment calendar to ensure optimal clinic efficiency.
- Confirm patient appointments and provide clear instructions when needed.
- Assist patients with inquiries regarding appointments, insurance, and treatment plans.
- Patient Advocacy & Communication:
- Act as a patient success advocate, ensuring that all patients have a positive and comfortable experience at the clinic.
- Assist patients with completing forms and medical history questionnaires.
- Provide clear information about services, treatment options, and insurance coverage.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, therapists, and medical staff to maintain excellent communication.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate patient records and keep electronic health records (EHR) up to date.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Organize incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and other correspondence.
- Clinic Operations:
- Collaborate closely with therapists and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Contribute to the overall safety and compliance of the clinic environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training is a plus).
- Previous experience in medical reception, customer service, or similar roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and office software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy and a patient-centered attitude with a desire to help others.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is advantageous.
