Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Agricultural Equipment Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling replacement parts to customers by identifying item numbers, descriptions, prices, quantities, and more.
Main Responsibilities:
- Selling replacement parts to customers by identifying item numbers, descriptions, prices, quantities, and more.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on agricultural equipment needs.
- Managing and maintaining accurate inventory in the warehouse by following prescribed policies and procedures.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of parts used in potato handling and harvesting equipment.
- Defining product needs of the customer through telephone, in-person, or written notification.
- Identifying customer need dates and material availability throughout the company.
- Performing inventory and sales transactions using appropriate invoicing methods.
- Moving materials both physically and electronically in and out of the warehouse and performing cycle counting activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Investigating to find the root cause of errors in material accuracy and remediating them.
- Packaging and shipping customer orders to arrive on time and damage-free.
- Unloading, receiving, and storing materials in the storeroom.
- Organizing the storeroom neatly to accommodate efficient inventory management.
- Ordering materials, reporting shortages, and maintaining stocking levels for the warehouse.
- Performing field and in-house service and repair as needed.
Requirements:
- Agricultural experience is preferred, particularly with the potato industry.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Well-developed computer skills, particularly with Microsoft products.
