Apprentice- Millwright at Clearwater Paper Corporation in Lewiston, Idaho, United States Job Description Description Where you will workThe Lewiston mill is the largest of Clearwater Paper's facilities, producing both paperboard and tissue products, and boasting over 1200 talented employees. Approximately two hours away from Clearwater Paper's headquarters in Spokane, Washington, the Lewiston paper mill is a key component in Clearwater Paper's business strategy. This location offers employees an opportunity to learn both sides of the business while influencing key business decisions and outcomes.What you will needTo be successful in this position, we are looking for candidates with the following : Successful applicants will possess the following attributes : The ability to work in a hot and humid environment;The ability to work with and around high-speed equipment;The ability to work in a high noise area.The ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Comfortable with heights.Must be willing and capable of learning and utilizing secondary maintenance skills such as Millwright and WeldingAble to work mandatory overtimeCandidates for the Apprentice - Millwright position who meet the above minimum qualifications must then pass the online pre-employment test to advance to the interview. Starting Pay rate will be $29.44.Clearwater Paper will not offer sponsorship for employment-based visa status (including, but not limited to, H-1B visa status and other employment-based nonimmigrant visas) for this position.
