Commercial Sales Manager
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving commercial sales within the AutoZone location by developing and maintaining positive relationships with commercial customers.
About the Role:
- Delivered exceptional customer service and maintained expert knowledge on parts and inventory to drive commercial sales.
- Managed the acquisition and delivery of products, developed new accounts, and served as the primary contact for commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developed and maintained a robust commercial sales strategy to achieve growth and hit sales targets.
- Conducted face-to-face and telephone contact with potential customers to develop new accounts.
- Provided ongoing customer service and maintained open lines of communication between AutoZone and commercial customers.
- Ensured efficient delivery of products by planning delivery routes and managing drivers, generating appropriate delivery documentation for each delivery.
- Maintained records and billing for commercial accounts, processed returns, and reconciled accounts.
- Visited commercial accounts and ensured accounts were serviced and deliveries were made as promised.
- Contributed to the AutoZone 'one-team' environment by assisting customers and AutoZoners with various aspects of the business.
- Built and maintained strong relationships with management team.
- Assisted with training and developing drivers, commercial specialists, and other AutoZoners as directed by the SM or DM.
- Maintained a safe working environment while ensuring AutoZoners implemented practices including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Followed proper accident and claim procedures, complied with safe driving rules and procedures, and ensured all Commercial Zoners had approved driver status.
- Properly maintained vehicle(s) and took necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts required.
- Effective leader with excellent communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and excellent selling skills.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
