Job Summary
The Transportation Technician Apprentice position at ITD offers a unique opportunity to develop a career in transportation technology and maintenance. Responsibilities
You will serve an apprenticeship in which you receive on-the-job instruction, classroom training, or self-study courses. You will perform entry-level technical highway maintenance and engineering work, operate power tools and equipment, and conduct routine inspections.
Benefits
ITD provides training to meet Entry Level Driver Training requirements and licensing costs. A Class 'A' Commercial Driver's License (CDL) must be obtained within 60 days of hire, and pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing is required.
