Concrete Mixer Driver at Woods BF Redi Mix in Sandpoint, Idaho, United States Job Description BF Redi-Mix, with 2 plants serving Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint Idaho, is seeking experienced and reliable Concrete Mixer Truck Drivers to join our team. We currently have driver opportunities in the Sandpoint area, The driver will be responsible for transporting and delivering ready-mix concrete to construction sites in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. They will also operate a concrete mixer truck, ensure proper mixing of concrete, and interact with customers to ensure quality service. Key Responsibilities : Operate and drive a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites. Follow all traffic and safety regulations to ensure safe operation of the truck. Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer details, delivery times, and concrete amounts in an end of day fuel log. Inspect truck and equipment regularly reporting any maintenance needs or issues. Communicate effectively with site personnel and customers to confirm delivery instructions. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition. Maintain clean truck and equipment to meet safety and quality standards. Assist with unloading of concrete at the construction site, as needed. Ensure timely and safe delivery of concrete. Qualifications : Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a concrete mixer truck or similar heavy equipment. We will train the right individual. Knowledge of concrete mixing, delivery, and the proper maintenance of mixer trucks a plus. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials as necessary. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to work in all weather conditions (Yes, sometimes we do work in the winter) and adhere to safety regulations. Physical Requirements : Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, etc.). Ability to drive and maneuver a large vehicle in diverse environments.
