Provides support to ProjectManagers and Construction Managers on assigned projects asrequired. Assists in the assurance that site safety ismaintained according to the safety plan, maintaining the dailyprogress goals, ensuring installation quality is upheld duringthe entire construction period, and communicating to ProjectManagers and Construction Managers. This role is responsiblefor Subcontractors, subcontracts, and trade workers.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesPromotes and upholds a safe work environment for allconstruction workers through the promotion of the safetyculture described in the Exyte Site Specific Safety Plan andindustry safe practicesEnsures that company safety policies and the Site SpecificPlan are proactively communicated, and consistently upheldAssists Construction Managers and Project Managers in thesupervision of other project staff to include ProjectEngineers, HSE Coordinators, etc.Participates in the Safe Behavior Observation (SBO) processAssists Project Managers and Construction Managers in thedevelopment of the overall project schedule. Responsible forupdating field progress of the schedule throughout the courseof construction. Actively engages and leads Last Plannerscheduling sessions with SubcontractorsCommunicates with Subcontractors and Suppliers with regardto schedule and ensures that their schedule progresses inaccordance with the Project Schedule. Coordinates all workacross all disciplines consistently planning the work inadvanceWith the support of the Quality Control, implement andenforce the Exyte Quality Control process; includingparticipating in pre-construction meetings, conducting fieldobservations and inspections, accepting or rejectingsubcontractor work as required and scheduling and facilitatingfield inspections as requiredWorks collaboratively and utilizes HSE staff as a resourcefor strategic and tactical implementation of HSE processes andproceduresParticipates in CERT and HAZMAT training and EHS teams asrequiredLeads and / or participates in site Safety Management byWalking Around (SMBWA) TeamsHave complete knowledge of the terms of the ConstructionContract and of the construction documents; including thecomplete drawings (civil, structural, architectural,mechanical, electrical and process systems); specifications;addenda; change documents; and any other pertinent documentsResponsible for maintaining a three-week 'look ahead'schedule for weekly Subcontractor meetings.Assists, when requested, in the take-off and pricing ofproposed changes to the ContractWith the support of Document Control and Project Managers,maintains one complete up-to-date set of the Contract Documentswith approved modifications for exclusive use in supervisingthe work of Exyte forces and SubcontractorsProvides technical and field support to the engineeringstaff, such as field measurements, layout, constructability,maintainability review, and as-built informationCoordinates with the Construction Manager on all scheduledSubcontractor 'show-up' and material delivery datesAssists the Project Manager and / or Construction Manager indetermining quantities or percent of work in place for monthlyapplications for paymentParticipates and reports to the Project Management team inregular Owner meetingsReviews all office correspondence, RFIs, PCOs, municates any issues or recommendations for improvement tothe Construction ManagerResponsible for the completion, on a daily basis, of theDaily Construction ReportOn a weekly basis, assists with determining quantities forCost Reports and reviews those quantities with the ConstructionManager prior to their submittal to Project ControlsShow your expertiseBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineeringor related field preferredOSHA 30 Required10 years of large construction project...
