Customer Deal Desk Specialist at Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description The Customer Deal Desk Specialist supports the North America Hardware sales teams for quoting, contracting and management of complex transactions. The Deal Desk team serves as trusted advisors for internal systems and business processes to streamline efficient workflow, enhance sales productivity and increase win rate of opportunities. The Deal Desk Specialist handles complex transactions and project manages revenue opportunities to successful conclusion by engaging with the appropriate internal teams to advance opportunities using sound business practices in accordance with Oracle policy. The work is fast-paced and seasonal in nature, corresponding with Oracle's quarterly and annual fiscal cycles. Key Skills and Experience 5 years of relevant experience Some contracting or deal desk experience is preferred Ability to handle complex transactions Project management of revenue opportunities Cross functional collaboration Knowledge of the Oracle Sales process, systems and tools Experience in CPQ, DAS, Q Strong communication skills Strong organizational skills Career Level - IC3 Responsibilities Creates, validates and processes contract documentation using Oracle's standard document templates, a set of contract options and in accordance with Oracle's policies and business approvals, in response to requests received from Sales. Follows defined engagement guidelines to liaise with other Customer Deal Desk teams, Finance, Legal, and other groups across Oracle to ensure policy compliance and mitigate corporate risk. Leads and manages the contracting process end-to-end for strategic, complex transactions that meet regional criteria. Sets the overall direction for his / her assigned managed deal(s) and is responsible for the successful execution of the contracting process, ensuring consistency and adherence with Oracle strategy, commitments and goals as well as compliance with Oracle policies and procedures. Facilitates and co-coordinates discussion amongst Sales and multiple Oracle functional stakeholders (i.e. Deal Specialist, RevRec, Finance, Legal, OFD, Business Practices, Migrations, Order Management, etc.) to reach agreement on contracting terms in order to solve complex contracting scenarios and meet the specific needs of his / her assigned managed deal(s). Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US : Hiring Range in USD from $30.29 to $60.63 per hour; from : $63,000 to $126,100 per annum.
