Cyber Security Analyst at TEKsystems in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description TEKsystems is seeking a certified cybersecurity analyst for our managed services client in Alaska This is a remote position that may require travel to / from customer and / or client locations. Candidates MUST be authorized to the work in the US for any employer without the need for sponsorship. Client does not support Corp2Corp sponsorship / employment. This is a W2 contract position for 6 months. Job Overview Cybersecurity Analysts provide both operational and consulting services for our clients, acting as trusted subject matter experts with regard to cybersecurity operations, compliance and risk management. Responsibilities and Duties Perform professional consulting engagements with client organizations, providing a range of specialized services including risk management, cybersecurity operations planning, strategy development, budget development, and policy development. Other duties as required by job assignment. Preferred Qualifications 3 years of experience as an IT technician, administrator, or engineer 4-year degree (or substitute for an equivalent number of additional years of experience) CompTIA Security certification CISSP certification Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must be able to pass preliminary background and credit investigation.
