Detention Deputy at Shoshone County in Wallace, Idaho, United States Job Description Shoshone County Sheriff's Office is seeking motivated and team oriented individuals for a position as a Detention Deputy. Requirements : -18 years of age or older -Valid Driver's License -US Citizen -Diploma or GED -Clean criminal record (no felonies and minimal misdemeanor record requires a waiver from Idaho POST -Able to pass fit for duty test as required by the Idaho POST Standards 21 pushups / 20 sit ups / 14' vertical jump / 77 seconds on 300 meter sprint / 17 : 17 on 1.5 mile run -Proficient typing and computer skills -Willing to work up to 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights at times -Willing to pick up your phone when extra help is needed Pay starts at $21.22 and increases to $22.96 after successful completion of 5 week detention academy and receipt of you Level 1 detention certificate in approximately six months after hire.
