Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technician to join our team at Idaho State Job Bank. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams on patients using specialized equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of imaging techniques, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
- Ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and preparing the patient for the exam.
- Performing exams per department protocol and reviewing images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
Requirements:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(RT) Radiography Certification/Registration
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
Shift Details:
- Full Time (36 hours a week)
- 3 - 12 hour shifts; Saturday & Sunday 7 am - 7 pm, Monday 8:30 am - 9:00 pm
- Rotating Holidays
