This position will support the MediaValet administrator and the design team in the management of MediaValet which will house the university's approved marketing assets. The DAM Specialist will ensure best practices and processes set in place are followed to ensure the most efficient use of the system. This includes : migrating current assets, organizing categories, creating and maintaining relationships between assets, enforcing naming taxonomies and metadata, tagging files with relevant and accurate metadata, researching information needed, and performing other tasks as necessary. This position is remote. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. Rate : $45 - $55 / hr. w2 Responsibilities : - Migrating, managing, and archiving photos in our new digital asset management system, MediaValet. This includes keywording photos, cross-checking information, tagging assets with appropriate metadata, andorganizing assets. - Maintaining current image files in our digital asset management systems including updating modelinformation and making corrections to metadata Experience Requirements : - 2 to 3 years professional experience with DAM software - Working experience and knowledge of metadata schemas and best practices - Working experience of taxonomy and asset organization - Experience applying current metadata standards to digital projects Education Requirements : Minimum Education and Experience Associate's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
