From your PASSION to ours Working with Operations, Research and Development and Engineering Management will be responsible for optimizing the various production systems, which directly and indirectly support the manufacturing process by implementing new process or modifying actual process. Will be involved with existing and new processes in the company. Travel will be 50% of the time to plants based in NY, WI, CA, & ID. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include : Analyze / monitor actual process and propose solutions for production growth and / or projects that optimize existing production, packaging lines, utilities & buildings. Responsible for evaluating, planning, justifying, coordinating, and following up on projects. Develop project costing for budget review and approval, Prepare P&ID, layout, production time schedule, technical description, function description, value calculations, and selecting appropriate bids, equipment, vendors, and sub-contractors. Ensure activities and projects are started and completed within the set timetable Maintain accurate and up to date project files and drawings Identifying and correcting safety, ergonomic, and operational problems through proper design of equipment. Promote inter-plant communication and provide technical support on an as-needed basis.
