Chemours is seeking an Environmental Engineer with a focus in Air Quality to join our Environmental Center of Excellence as a subject matter expert. This position will report directly to the Director - Environment and Remediation . The position is located within the United States, preferably at or near Chemours headquarters in Wilmington, DE or manufacturing locations (e.g. mid-Ohio Valley, Tennessee Valley, Gulf Coast regions). Remote job location may be considered. As the air quality subject matter expert for Chemours, the Environmental Engineer will provide regulatory and compliance support to Chemours global chemical businesses in environmental engineering and related technologies, including technical support to plant operations and new capital projects. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following : Provide support to manufacturing sites including guidance on achieving regulatory compliance, interpretation of air regulations, the selection and oversight of outside contractors for work including LDAR monitoring, stack testing, air dispersion modeling, and air permitting Provide support of capital projects including air permitting assistance, determining regulatory applicability, guidance on the selection of air pollution control technology, estimating air emissions Perform site 2nd party environmental audits at plant sites Support advocacy efforts including representing Chemours on American Chemistry Council (ACC) Committees and reviewing and prepare comments to agenci To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
