Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our Baker Truck Service team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of all truck stock in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Maintaining and troubleshooting all truck systems including hydraulic, air, brake, drive train, and engines. \
- Repacking cylinders and welding as needed. \
- Using parts and service manuals for repairs and identifying and ordering necessary parts. \
- Attending outside training courses to stay up-to-date on new equipment and technologies. \
- Working closely with supervisors and truck drivers to ensure timely and effective repairs. \

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- \
- A high school diploma or equivalent. \
- One-year of mechanical training in vocational/technical school or equivalent work experience in heavy-duty mechanics. \
- One-year of heavy equipment repair experience and hydraulic components repair. \
- One-year of semi-truck and trailer repair. \
- A valid driver's license. \
- The ability to read schematics. \
- Certifications in welding. \
- Basic computer skills. \
