Kiewit is seeking a Heavy Equipment Planner to join our team in Idaho, United States. As a Heavy Equipment Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the profitability of our projects through the improved equipment utilization and mechanical reliability. In this position, you will plan, schedule, and budget the utilization and reliability of a construction and mining equipment fleet.
Your responsibilities will include understanding and complying with all federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements, creating and maintaining tool/filter lists and documentation, conducting inspections of equipment and parts, and managing logistics and communication. Additionally, you will use reliability and failure analysis data to increase equipment availability and reliability, establish and maintain communications between all levels of supervision and management, and support craft maintenance technicians.
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who has obtained an undergraduate AS/BS degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management, and has 1 year of experience with equipment is preferred.
