The Idaho Division of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner II. This announcement will be used to fill a classified position located in the Capitol Mall area in Boise, ID. This position will provide support for the Department of Administration (ADM), the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI), the Department of Insurance (DOI), the Commission on Hispanic Affairs (ICHA), the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH), the Department of Commerce, and will work collaboratively with the Idaho Division of Human Resources. Summary : This position performs a full range of professional human resource services in leave administration, medical accommodations, classification, compensation, recruitment, training, policy and procedure, employee relations and performance management. This position will provide support to multiple agencies. Responsibilities : Providing human resource consultation and services to applicants, staff and managers in more than one area of functional specialization, such as leave administration, medical accommodations, recruitment, benefits, compensation, classification, employee relations, etc. Consulting with supervisors / managers on performance management Advising on career and succession planning, organization and job design Contributing to employee engagement and retention tactics Monitoring and evaluates compliance with applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures Participating in complaint inquiries, investigations and resolutions May process payroll and perform related functions Specialties someone in this class might focus on : Planning, organizing, conducting job analysis and recommends appropriate classification Developing, implementing, and evaluating effectiveness of recruitment initiatives Identifying and recommending solutions to compensation challenges and inequities Providing training and presentations Proficiency in HRIS systems Distinguishing Characteristics This is the third level in the Human Resource job family.
