Job Title: Inside Sales Associate
Location: Soda Springs, ID
Job Type: Full-time
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, daytime hours
Job Summary:
As an Inside Sales Associate at Airgas USA LLC, you will learn about our products and assist customers in selecting the best equipment for their needs. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, advising customers on equipment and materials, and arranging deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to walk-in and remote customers
- Sell industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment
- Advise customers on equipment and materials needed and procedures to follow
- Arrange for delivery of cylinders and hard-goods
- Stock and maintain showroom displays
- Drive a class C truck delivering goods to customers when necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire date
- Computer skills or knowledge of computer order entry systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to lift 25-75 lbs and occasionally lift 76-125 lbs with material handling equipment
- Ability to perform prolonged standing up to 8 hours
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
