Job Title: Laborer
Location: Kellogg, Idaho
The Laborer shall perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Performs manual and skilled labor tasks such as collecting debris from work site, and using tools and equipment such as: hand tools, hand held power tools, and small-mechanized equipment to provide labor support on a variety of construction projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working in an outdoor environment with exposure to extreme weather and difficult terrains
- Lifting and carrying materials such as pipe, moving hoses, decontaminating equipment and materials, flagging, and other strenuous tasks
- Inspect, maintain, and operate assigned manual and power tools
- Operation of tools in a safe and efficient manner
Addition Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and understand safety policies and procedures
- Safely execute work assignments
- Notify appropriate personnel of issues needing management attention
- Follow North Wind and client procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- High Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Ability to regularly move at least 60-lbs manually
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand and walk
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach and signal with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell
