Lead Reports Developer - Power BI / Databricks / SQL / Data Modeling - Remote at Molina Healthcare in Meridian, Idaho, United States Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Collects, validates, analyzes, and organizes data into meaningful reports for management decision making as well as designing, developing, testing and deploying reports to provider networks and other end users for operational and strategic analysis. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES Creates CR's for new reports. Creates reports to meet user requirements using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services. Writes and maintains database stored procedures. Assists with development, implementation, and maintenance of report / data source documentation policies. Automates recurring reports, data transformations, data imports, and data exports using Microsoft SQL Information Services (SSIS) and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS). Develop, implement, and maintain automation schedules and strategies for coordinating health plan automation efforts. Develops & implements reports with repeatable processes to satisfy federal CMS reporting requirements. Maintains best practices for report development. Maintains best practices for report distribution and archiving that complies with federal & state statutes. Write and maintains SQL database stored procedures, views, and functions. Implements database management policies for updating, reviewing, archiving, and removing database objects. Optimizes SQL queries to improve efficiency and performance. Develops and enforces standards for query runtime and efficiency. Create and tune SQL indexes to improve SQL query performance. Develop, implement, and maintain indexing strategies on key analytic data sources. Provides peer review and unit test reports. Maintains SharePoint sites. Assists with development, implementation, and maintenance of local SharePoint administration policies. Documents best practices, lessons learned, release notes, and DDI documents. Captures and prioritizes system requirements / features. Performs other duties as assigned by the Analytics Manager. Completes training courses, successfully, set forth by Analytics team manager. May work independently or cooperatively with other software developers, often assuming technical and project leadership roles. Acts as the technical authority in a specific application. Leads team of developers to develop & implement reports to satisfy state reporting requirements. Tasks developers, track reporting requirements and CR tickets.
