Live in Caregiver at CHRIS PHILLIPS HEALTHCARE in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Sixty-two-year-old guy, young at heart, requires dependable full-time home health care and assistance to live at his home due to a broken neck and related paralysis. Daily routine and activities consist of the following : range-of-motion, dressing, bathing, transfers / positioning in wheelchair, turned while in bed, transporting in van, light housekeeping, cooking meals, employer enjoys activities and dining out and pays for employees. Applicants require all the usual : clean licenses, strong back, pass criminal background check and random drug tests. Need caring, honest, detail oriented, quick learners. Physical strength considered over healthcare experience. Employer must teach all new employees daily routine, meds, and personal preferences. I am willing to provide complete training to the right person if they exhibit exceptional character and willingness to learn. Great fill-in work between high school and college so younger applicants encouraged to apply. Shift is 3 12 hour nights per week. Full benefits after 30 days, includes Workman's Comp insurance and performance bonuses. Perks include personal bedroom, queen bed, 25' TV w / cable & DVD, and board (good food). Smoking is permitted outside. Starting pay is $16.00 to $20.00 / hr depending on experience, background, and demeanor. I currently have a relief / backup employee to fill in gaps just in case of emergencies and to work scheduled time off for other employees. The basic duties are what you see above but position requires employee to be available 24 / 7, a phone call away. This position requires employee to run errands and take care of all misc. things.
