At Idaho State Job Bank, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment. You will work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment.
About the Role
This is a multicraft position that requires training to develop skills in multiple areas. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and systems, and will be expected to troubleshoot and repair issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including lubricating equipment, inspecting systems, and making repairs as needed
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic system failures
- Work effectively in a team environment to complete projects and meet deadlines
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
- A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
