Job Summary:
A highly skilled Maintenance Technician is needed to maintain the efficient functioning of automated production lines and a manufacturing facility operating on a 24/7 basis. This position requires strong technical skills, including welding, plumbing, electrical repair, instrumentation, and machine operations. The ideal candidate will have an intermediate level of proficiency in these areas and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches etc. This includes, but is not limited to, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, drying equipment, motors, VFDs, and control instruments. The technician will also be responsible for setting up and operating simple machining operations, including lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
