The Manager, Electrical Engineering participates in a teamenvironment consisting of engineers and designers to produceconstruction documents for the following systems : power,lighting, controls, grounding, and the like. Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesPerforms engineering tasks for the design of electricalsystems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms,general manufacturing / process facilities and institutionalfacilitiesPrepares electrical engineering calculations in support ofelectrical system designs including, electrical equipmentsizing, feeder sizing and equipment selectionPlans and schedules of discipline deliverables andactivities including man-hour estimation, assigning personnel,and supervision of discipline personnel on the ProjectsSupports project on-site execution and make decisions tosupport projects and act as technical consultantDevelops manpower and labor cost requirements for a projectand monitor them to aid in evaluating project schedule andbudgetProvides specialized technical input to studies and designfor staff's specific area of expertiseDevelops study and design procedures to facilitate highquality cost effective work by discipline teamDevelops of conceptual design, preliminary design and finaldesign documents which would include calculations related tosizing and selecting of these systems, the development of powerdiagrams, layout of electric equipment, electrical systemcontrol and the likeWorks will include close coordination with the project teamand other disciplines as well as other design officesProvides input to the development of engineering budget andschedule to meet requirementsCoordinates with disciplines in the preparation anddevelopment of the deliverables and ensuring those otherdisciplines' inputs are incorporatedOther duties as assigned The information contained in this job description is intendedto describe the essential job functions required of thoseassigned to this job.
