About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Premier Technology, Inc. in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform routine and preventative maintenance on various equipment and tools used in the manufacturing process.
- Build, modify, and/or adjust tooling or equipment to meet current needs.
- Perform routine and predictive maintenance as outlined in manufacturer recommendations for various tools and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust tools/equipment.
Requirements
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
- One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, substantial interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written skills, and intermediate computer skills.
Work Environment
The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud noises, tripping hazards, exposure to sparks, welding arc, and open flame.
