Role : ThePayment Operations Specialistprovides financial services of superior quality and convenience through processing member Draft and ACH transactions in an accurate and timely manner. This position collaborates with internal team members regarding payments and often assists members by engaging in meaningful conversations to resolve financial inquires, enrich the member's experience and deepen their relationship with the credit union. Pay : The pay for this position is$21.32 an hour. Essential Functions & Responsibilities : Processes payments and balances daily reports for members Draft and ACH transactions, including : deposit returns, drafts, debit card postings, debit and credit card settlements, wire balancing, check and VISA adjustments, paper payroll, online funding accounts and Mobile / ATM / Business RDC deposit review. The position also handles all Draft and ACH disputes and fraud issues. Resolves complex member and employee inquires by utilizing company policies. Researches and explores potential solutions to provide alternatives for members. Follows escalation processes to direct members to appropriate team member as needed. Accurately maintains related files, member records account information and control records according to document retention and quality assurance policies. Maintains a thorough knowledge of NACHA policies and procedures, keeps up to date on regulation changes. Coordinates with multiple credit union departments and 3rd party vendors to complete member requests and provide appropriate solutions. Maintains knowledge of all credit union products, services, and promotions. Contributes to efficient Credit Union operations by performing other job related duties as assigned.
