Kaniksu Community Health seeks a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Our pharmacy provides integrated, team-based healthcare in north Idaho. We offer comprehensive and multi-disciplinary services through the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and verifying the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions
- Calculating the price of prescriptions
- Reviewing and recording patient information with their prescription in compliance with guidelines
- Stocking the pharmacy with inventory
- Providing instructions on correct medication use
- Supporting pharmacists in daily operations
- Protecting employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in healthcare, preferably in clinical setting
- Proven mastery of Medical terminology
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
