I. Job Summary Manages Proposal Contract Compliance function supporting SBS, PSS, SMB, and M & I (all sales channels). II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. Manages the Proposal team tasked with the following responsibilities : Review RFP submittals to verify compliance and confirming we are differentiating WM Work with Proposal Managers and Senior Account Executives and other Area team members to resolve noncompliance issues. Proposal Team reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual). Train Proposal Managers on key contract language and how to reduce risk and convert to more favorable contract language through RFP submittals.. Leveraging to complete Proposal Team Scorecard . On-going audits and process review Ensures compliance with all laws, rules and regulations applicable to the Area's municipal operations, and adherence to overall Corporate governance and business integrity standards. Manages RFP responses and drafting RFP responses. Works with Legal staff and internal departments to manager, formulate, draft, review, and negotiate RFP responses. Reviews, analyzes and interprets RFP's. Participates in strategic planning for municipal business with Corporate partners Evaluates existing municipal contracts for new business opportunities and revenue growth for capacity planning. III. Supervisory Responsibilities This position manages employees. IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Must live and work in the US. A. Education and Experience Required : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Public Administration, Business Administration, or similar area of study, and 7 or more years of previous experience managing, reviewing, monitoring, and / or negotiating contracts or other similar legal documents.
