We are looking for a Seasonal Operations Specialist to join our team in Kendrick, Idaho.
- Loading and unloading grain, agronomy, and feed products
- Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs
- Maintaining knowledge of grain quality and assisting with loading and unloading products
- Delivering fertilizer, grain, feed, and fuel to customers
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of operations and/or business operations, and be able to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobiles.
Additional qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CDL license or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement, and agriculture experience.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently
- Develop and maintain knowledge of commodities handled at the location
- Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks using heavy or light duty machinery/equipment
- Control and monitor all load out functions
- Understand and operate automated scale/dump systems
- Conduct and properly record daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks
- Monitor and maintain quality of inventory
- Deliver products to customer sites
- Keep all work areas in a clean, orderly and safe condition
- Promptly report any customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, or safety concerns to supervisor
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, and bins
- Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
