Job Title: Social Worker (Juvenile Services Coordinator)
The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections is seeking a full-time Social Worker to fill an opening at our District 7, Region 3 office located in St. Anthony.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-going case-management services for juvenile offenders committed to custody of the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections.
- Collaborate with respective facility case managers, family and guardians, juvenile probation officer, and other treatment providers critical to the juvenile's successful return to the community.
- Facilitate and oversee reintegration into the community in concert with community partners, the court, treatment providers, and the juvenile's family.
- Identify and develop community-based services for juveniles and their families.
- Conduct home visits as needed.
Requirements:
- Travel may be required to make contact with juveniles in residential placements in other areas of the state as well as occasional travel out of state.

This position requires a strong understanding of social work principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and families in a correctional or treatment setting.
