The Global Sustainability Analyst will report to the Global Head of Sustainability and will be responsible for strategically developing and running a global sustainability program. What You'll Do : Support the development of an industry-leading global program that is crafted to evolve with emergent trends in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) space, avoid risk and capitalize on opportunities. Internally, help implement the sustainability goals of the enterprise to achieve stated targets (e.g., science-based targets initiative (SBTi), net zero, renewable energy, EV100, carbon compensation) Build collateral and materials that clearly communicate program strategy, goals and metrics to all levels of the organization. Externally, help to establish Amex GBT as the expert and efficient marketplace for more sustainable business travel. Be customer focused. Support the creation and monetization of sustainability-focused products and services. Demonstrate to our clients and industry partners our leading sustainability program with end-to-end solutions, strategic partnerships, technological advancements, and constant innovation. Synthesize and translate sustainability trends, developments and scientific research into actionable advice for the business. Empower the sales team with a sustainability playbook. Industry wide, support the development of thought leadership that drives the travel sector towards net zero with advocacy and lobbying. Conduct research and provide subject matter expertise regarding decarbonization solutions such as sustainable aviation fuels. Help to build a Green Forum that connects sustainability-focused business partners through experienced commercial engagement and supply chain management.
