Summary
This position performs diagnostics, welding, fabrication, electrical, hydraulics, and general repair. Use your knowledge and skills to construct and customize a surplus of heavy-duty work trucks. You will be working with a variety of compressors, welders, and cranes which will require proficiency in hydraulics, electrical components, and combustion engines. Completing job tasks on time, maintaining a clean and organized work space, reducing the need for rework, and increasing customer satisfaction will be key to being successful in this position.

Essential Functions

- Perform diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems
- Perform general repairs
- Fabrication including some design, layout, cutting, and forming
- Weld according to specifications; 10 gauge to 1” steel
- Properly install, repair, and maintain all electrical components
- Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems
- Perform quality control checks on all completed jobs
- Must have own tools (A list will be provided)
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience (at least 1 year) in mechanical repair or industrial equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
- Strong customer service aptitude, effective communication skills, and mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the company.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This position works in a climate-controlled shop setting. Proper PPE must be worn at all times.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and sit for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a half hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.
