Summary
This position is responsible for properly receiving incoming freight and shipping outgoing items.
Essential Functions
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Ensure that all incoming products are inspected for accuracy and damage
- All incoming products are received into the system within 48 hours of delivery
- Determine best method of outgoing shipment (cost, risk of damage, need-by-date) and prepare all necessary documentation for the shipment
- Follow all receiving procedures, ensuring that parts are correctly labeled and taken to the proper stock location, or appropriate job location
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving
- Prior cycle count/inventory experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- High attention to detail with excellent data entry skills
- “Team” Mindset
- Ability to work with a diverse group of coworkers, logistics partners, and suppliers
- Time Management – appropriately prioritize tasks
- Ability to read BOL’s, packing slips, and invoices
- Prior forklift experience
- Basic office computer skills
- Must have valid drivers license
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse and shop setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand truck, box cutters, and tape dispensers.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.

No travel is expected for this position.
