Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of materials within our distribution center. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Move products throughout the warehouse efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and meet distribution goals.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for maximum efficiency.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating heavy equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe operation of cranes and other heavy equipment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
