Industrial Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including industrial, commercial, and food processing settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and hygienic workspace.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in designated areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free from debris.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools effectively to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Fabricate cleaning solutions as necessary for specific tasks or surfaces.
• Conduct industrial cleaning in warehouses and food production facilities, adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage custodial duties including waste disposal, floor care, and restroom sanitation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and food processing sanitation standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility in working hours may be required based on operational needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Extended hours
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
