We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment while ensuring quality control.
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Maintain organized stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Utilize MRP systems to track inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks safely.
- Prepare shipping documents and labels for outgoing packages.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve processes.
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate order processing.
- Experience with order picking, packing, and stock management practices.
- Ability to operate forklifts or reach trucks; certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
