Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently load, unload, and move products throughout the distribution center. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations in our order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely shipping and receiving of packages.
Duties
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers.
- Perform order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Utilize AS400 or similar inventory management systems for tracking orders and inventory levels.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are accounted for and in good condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Proficient in load unloading, order picking, shipping receiving, and package handling.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus.
- Experience using AS400 or similar inventory management software is desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification may be required based on company policy.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations and protocols within the warehouse.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
