Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and team leadership, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of productivity, safety, and quality within the warehouse environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and distributing products accurately.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 for tracking inventory and managing orders.
- Train new employees on operational procedures, safety practices, and equipment usage.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes related to e-commerce fulfillment.
- Handle heavy lifting as required and ensure that all team members are trained in safe lifting techniques.
- Assist in the development of operational strategies to improve efficiency within the warehouse.
Skills
- Proven experience in a 3PL (third-party logistics) environment is preferred.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of employees.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 software is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a distribution center or as a warehouse supervisor is an asset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Knowledge of e-commerce operations and fulfillment processes is beneficial.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
