Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the receipt of goods and materials in our distribution center. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately processed and recorded, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring they match purchase orders.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to log received items and update inventory records.
• Operate RF scanners for tracking inventory movements and maintaining accurate stock levels.
• Assist in picking and packing orders as needed, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer requests.
• Use pallet jacks and other equipment to move products safely within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Experience

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
• Experience with order picking in a distribution center environment is beneficial.
• Ability to operate an order picker and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Expected hours: 40 per week
