Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience in a distribution center environment and possess strong skills in order picking, packing, and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and manage stock movements within the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in inventory counts and audits as required.
• Operate reach trucks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role or similar position within a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
• Proficient in order picking, packing, and using RF scanners for inventory management.
• Ability to operate reach trucks or willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
