We are seeking both experienced and non-experienced candidates.
General Purpose of Job:
Perform service and repair to garage doors and related equipment while exceeding customer expectations and meeting Company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform service and repair to garage doors, dock levelers, and related equipment using a variety of power tools, hand tools, ladder and lift mechanisms.
- Review assigned job ticket and determine correct equipment and parts to be loaded for transport to job sites.
- Effectively utilize technology (tablets, mobile phones, computers, email, and scheduling software) to log task completion, quotes, and payment information.
- Develop complete and accurate quotes to include parts, time and resources.
- Perform troubleshooting on garage doors and related equipment.
- Maintain vehicle, equipment, tools, and inventory in a clean, safe, and efficient manner to obtain optimum operation.
- Adhere to and maintain compliance with established systems, policies and procedures.
- Comply with all safety and housekeeping expectations and 5s standards.
- Identify, recommend and implement opportunities for continuous performance and process improvements.
- Contribute to a spirit of cooperation and teamwork within and between departments.
- Demonstrate and uphold Company values.
Requirements
Skill, Competency, and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to effectively utilize technology (tablets, mobile phones, computers, email, and scheduling software).
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to obtain forklift/aerial lift and DOT certification required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $37.00 per hour
