Schedule: Afterschool hours, typically 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver dance and cheerleading lessons that are age-appropriate and cater to various skill levels.
- Teach fundamental techniques in dance styles and cheerleading.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-esteem.
- Develop choreography for performances and coordinate participation in local events or competitions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students by maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
- Provide feedback and support to help students improve their skills and achieve their personal goals.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about students' progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to plan and organize showcases or recitals.
- Adhere to all school/organization policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in dance and cheerleading instruction, with a strong portfolio of choreography.
- Knowledge of a variety of dance styles and cheerleading techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of different ages and skill levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Background check and clearances as required by the school/organization.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Dance, Physical Education, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to conduct classes and demonstrate dance and cheerleading moves.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and engaging in physical activity.
