Summary
The Express Service Advisor is the primary contact between the express service department and the main drive customers. Primary goals are to provide outstanding customer service while maximizing the sales of needed maintenance and repairs.
Duties & Responsibilities

Sell needed maintenance services and repairs to customers.
- Identify customer requests.
- Conduct a complete vehicle walk around.
- Present multi point inspection and technician video inspection results to customer
- Recommend needed maintenance services and repairs.
- Conduct a detailed active delivery of each vehicle.
- Make appropriate prospecting and follow-up contacts with each guest.
- Maintain high customer service scores through effective communication skills.
- Provide outstanding customer service in accordance with dealership policies. This includes appointment prep, regular customer updates, follow up, and more.
- Ensure proper documentation of all warranty and service contract work.
- Maintain a current knowledge of your manufacturer’s vehicle maintenance requirements, operations, warranties and campaigns, and technical service bulletins.
- Maintain current knowledge of state and local laws and regulations related to automotive service and repairs, including lemon laws.
- Write complete and accurate repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer policies.
- Work in a Team environment with a positive mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior customer service and sales experience preferred
- 4 years clear driving record- No previous DUI history or moving violations
- Valid driver’s license
- No criminal background history

Work Environment
This job operates in various types of vehicles and business environments that may include loud noises, odors or weather conditions. Driving is mostly during the day, but you could be required to drive in low light conditions. Mostly working with customers while standing or sitting in Service Drive in various temperatures.
Physical Demands
Safely drive a variety of vehicles in inclement weather or road conditions according to established motor vehicle rules and laws. May sit, walk or stand for long periods of time in all weather and temperature conditions. Repetitive use of arms and legs and moving the whole body such as standing, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, reaching, pushing, grasping, hearing, seeing and talking.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically rotated Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 8am to 5pm. Evening, Holiday and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
