Idea Hall, an award-winning, creative communications agency based in Orange County, California, is seeking a full time Public Relations Account Manager to join our hybrid, collaborative team of marketing, communications and creative professionals. This role will support our clients in the CRE, AEC, non-profits, and affordable housing sectors. Key Responsibilities:- Serve in a client-facing capacity on key PR accounts.
- Thoughtful day-to-day execution and management of client programs.
- Drive and execute strategic communications campaigns, including media relations, thought leadership, digital & social media, events, awards programs, outbound marketing campaigns and more.
- Heavy writing and content development, including messaging, media materials, marketing materials, digital/social content and more.
- Play a key role in developing strategic client PR/marketing plans and bringing new ideas to agency/client teams throughout the year based on trends and insights.
- Identify and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to client strategies and programs.
- 4-8 years of public relations and integrated communications experience.
- Agency experience is required.
- Seasoned writing and editing skills; ability to write for senior-level management and business audiences (op-eds, memos, press releases, etc.).
- Excellent project-management, account management and creative problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to execute with excellence and manage deadlines.
- Solid media relations experience with proven program results and success in building relationships with key media contacts in relevant trades, influential publications and social media influencers.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to navigate complex client needs.
- Requirement: Ability to work onsite in our beautiful Costa Mesa Office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and available for an additional 15% of your time to visit clients and attend events in the area (sometimes in evenings).
