About the Job
We are seeking a motivated Packaging Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating packaging for our in-house & licensed brands. You will work closely with our packaging design and development teams to create new and innovative products, following current trends that will catch the customer’s eye in stores. This position requires a highly creative individual with a passion for design, typography, and color.
Responsibilities :
- Create packaging for a variety of home products, with a focus on kids’ and seasonal items.
- Assist packaging design team in revising existing packaging following brand guidelines.
- Create and edit sell sheets for the sales team.
- Maintain, organize, and update in-house digital libraries.
- Help in the showroom year-round as needed.
- In-house mock-up creation / hand comping for packaging samples.
- Photoshopping images for packaging.
- Create renderings of products / packaging and realistic-looking lifestyle images.
- Assist in the research and development of seasonal trends.
- Design, develop, and implement for twice yearly Market Week.
- Coordinate presentation materials for Sales / Account meetings.
