Position: Public Relations Assistant
Description: We are is seeking a Public Relations Assistant to support the company’s public relations and communications efforts. This role involves assisting with media relations, drafting press materials, coordinating events, and maintaining a positive brand image. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and eager to learn about public relations strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and public statements.
- Help coordinate press events, interviews, and promotional campaigns.
- Maintain media contact lists and build relationships with journalists and influencers.
- Monitor media coverage and create reports on PR campaign effectiveness.
- Support internal and external communication initiatives to ensure brand consistency.
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor PR activities.
- Assist with crisis communication strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or relevant experience).
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of media relations and public relations strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
